Yes Chris formed in 2022. We are Chris (Guitars and Vocals), Tanya (Bass) and Adam (Drums).

Yes Chris bring a guitar led blend of driving rhythms and melody. One minute you’re flying through a turbulent electric storm, the next you’re wrapped in a blanket watching the Northern Lights. Maybe you’ll even enjoy a bit of it!

Before Yes Chris we’ve shared stages with bands from Arctic Monkeys to The Wedding Present but the itch to play was left unscratched for a while until, while at an awesome little DIY music festival outside Cambridge in September 2022, we decided to form Yes Chris and get back on the stage.

We’ve been called Shoegaze, Alt Rock, Post Rock and even Grunge, but we like to leave the genre to the listener. Maybe we are all of these and more, maybe we are none. We just play what we like.

The name was incidental. A simple comment during a discussion about possible names, but not a suggestion. We all latched onto it and it stuck.
