Newmarket based HEADCHECK defy genres drawing influences from brit-pop bands such as Blur (who’s hit ‘Song 2’ was the inspiration for the band’s name) and Oasis, alongside the post-punk bands and artists of today including King Krule, Fontaines DC and Shame. HEADCHECK are a four-piece band consisting of Cam Redmond (17), Ulas Sagar (18), James Hynes (18) and Ned Newman (18) and the Teenagers have been gigging and writing extensively since their formation in the summer of 2023 already gaining themselves support slots for some of the most exciting bands in the UK including False Heads and Chappaqua Wrestling.
